I often think of these lyrics when I invest my time with The Indy Learning Team – a team that believes in the power of investing in children. My personal mission aligns with this, and I bet yours does to. We know that when we invest in children, we invest in the future. And there hasn’t been a more important time to invest in our children – our FUTURE – than right now.
Recently, I’ve struggled with my optimism. I’m usually a very happy-go-lucky person. But with the pandemic, and our nation’s political struggles, my blue skies turned grey. However, those grey skies quickly turn back to bright blue when I’m working with children.
Yes, I invest my time in them, but they give me something more. Hope."
