The Liberation of our Student Through Literacy with Dr. Gwen Lavert

"Reading is the lifeline for our children and part of their civil rights," Dr. Gwen Lavert.

Dr. Lavert shared with us her passion for literacy and how cultural transmission is important for our children. Reading aloud is the single most important thing we can do for our children. Dr. Lavert says, "we are working to liberate our children through literacy."
